ABOUT THE AUTHOR - JOE PERRONE JR was a sportswriter for the Passaic-Clifton, NJ Herald News, as well as a free-lance advertising copywriter. He has been a professional fly fishing guide and instructor on the Beaverkill River in the Catskill Mountains of New York State. Presently, he lives in the mountains of Western North Carolina with his wife, Becky, and the couple's two cats, Cassie and Callie. "As the Twig is Bent" is the first in the Matt Davis Mystery Series, and was followed by Opening Day. A third Matt Davis Mystery, Twice Bitten, is due for publication in late 2011. Joe is also the author of "Escaping Innocence (A Story of Awakening)," a side-splitting look at coming-of-age in the turbulent '60s, and A "Real" Man's Guide To Divorce (First, you bend over and...) available in paperback and Kindle versions.
